The presentation on this one is superb - wonderful warm colours beautiful lighting, and the square format really sets it off. Excellent shot.

why did you have the camera settings that you do?
as in why is your ISO so high. you can shrink your f stop a bit. with such a small subject, havinga shallower depth of field is not going to be noticed. as well as you dont need quite that fast of shutter. could be wrong on this but at least a stop slower should still freeze that water. Sorry, but for such a strong image, often they are destroyed by noise. especially for digital.
another thing. I noticed you use levels. please use curves. it won't destroy your image the way levels does. levels = 256 shades of grey to control. . . that's it.
it's a great shot. but I am telling you I think you need to make sure you get a flawless image out of your shots, when it's possible.

a simple word AMAZING

@slaphapy5: Your right...BUT the noise doesn't bother me at all here. therefore I used such a high ISOspeed, which allows me very fast shutterspeeds @ even F/8. And, I have tried to reduce it and use a shutterspeed of 1/640sec and you see the difference, you really do.try it yourself! all my other dropshots have a shutterspeed of 1/250sec but with flash, this time I haven't used one...
